Emmy And Tim

It’s Go Carolling Day across the known world, so you could do that. Or, since it’s so cold, frequent one/all of the centrally-heated culture treats we’ve selected instead…

Pun Run, Camden Monarch, 20 Dec
Tonight’s non-stop Pun Run – a rolling onslaught of linguistic trickery and… well, puns – will feature such guest gag artistes as props-toting eccentric Ben Target, reasonably-priced comedienne Andre Hubert, comic activist Chris Coltrane and the ThreeWeeks-deemed “next Lenny Bruce” Chris Boyd. A Christmas cracker of a billing, if you’ll pardon the pun. Event details and tickets here.

Joel Dommett – Yesssssssssssss. Yes, Etcetera Theatre, 20 Dec
Much sought-after following a golden stint as ‘Nunchuck Silver Medallist’ at this year’s Edinburgh Fringe, lithe T4 presenter Joel Dommett slings his triumphant third show of 2012 at Camden’s Etcetera this very eve. Online bookings here.

Emmy The Great & Tim Wheeler, Scala, 20 Dec (pictured)
This week having seen the release from alt-pop couple Emmy And Tim – aka Ash’s Tim Wheeler and Emmy The Great – of undead new duet ‘Zombie Christmas’, they’ll be shambling in gory fashion about the stage of the Kings Cross Scala in its honour. Tickets available via this link.
