Paloma Faith

Calling all East End fete fans, the Spitalfields Summer Festival starts tonight at 6.30pm with a bracingly pricey draft of ‘Food Wine And Song’ administered by The Orlando Consort, so hurrah for that. The festival at large lasts till the 22 Jun, and will feature free and ticketed arts and culture attractions for all the family.
So that’s one thing that’s going on today, and this? This is choice of TW London-approved alternatives…

Bush Hall Presents feat Stewart Lee/Andy Zaltzman/James Acaster/MC Richard Herring, Bush Hall, 7 Jun
The stars of Bush Hall’s pcm presentation tonight are so great, there’s really no intro necessary.  And they are: driving comic Tour de Force Stewart Lee, political animal Andy Zaltzman, relative new arrival James Acaster and the always ceremonial Richard Herring. Details and tickets here.

Comedy Eve presents… Lucy Porter/Juliet Meyers/Sara Pascoe/Gabby Best, Bloomsbury Theatre, 7 Jun
Leading lady luminaries on the circuit one and all, the unilaterally excellent Lucy Porter, Sara PascoeJuliet Meyers and pals present themselves en masse to lend a hand to umbrella charity the Women’s Resource Centre. Details and tickets here.

Paloma Faith, The O2 Arena, 7 Jun (pictured)
Having slain all chart rivals on releasing last year’s ‘Fall To Grace’, oddball-popstar-it’s-okay-to-like Paloma Faith flaunts strange fashions and her many, many hit singles as tonight’s all-star O2 headliner. Details and tickets here.
