FESTIVALS: Convergence | various venues | 12-22 Mar
Bringing together music and visual art that use technology in new and interesting ways, Convergence takes place in various venues across London, including Royal Festival Hall, Village Underground and St John-at-Hackney Church. There are numerous events scheduled over the course of the festival, kicking off with tonight’s opening party, with live performances from Clark, Vessels and Rival Consoles. Hotly-tipped musician Laura Welsh, fresh from an appearance on the soundtrack of ’50 Shades Of Grey’, will headline a show at Electrowerkz in Islington tonight. She’ll be performing tracks from her fresh-out debut album, ‘Soft Control’, four of which you can listen to here – including her duet with John Legend, ‘Hardest Part. Details and tickets here.

John is a 27 year old teacher, Mark is one of his sixteen year old pupils. After school, Mark dreams of another life, and starts to build it online. Unfortunately, that life already belongs to John.
