Comedy Musicals Opera ThisWeek In London
Three To See on 10 Aug: Luke Toulson, Scenes From The End, Children Of Eden

And today’s ThisWeek-tipped, LDN-based events are…
Luke Toulson | Phoenix Fringe | 10 Aug
Yay, back over to the Phoenix Fringe for some quality comedy from the very lovely Luke Toulson, who, I must confess, I last saw on stage at Comedy Club 4 Kids. But you know, he was great then, and he will also be great on 10 Aug when he performs ‘Grandpa, Hitler and Aunty Sue’, which is based on 200 letters his grandfather wrote to his grandmother during World War II. See this page here for all the info.
Scenes From The End | Camden People’s Theatre | 10-11 Aug (pictured)
Camden Fringe, again, folks, and this time we are heading for Camden People’s Theatre for this one woman opera about grief performed by soprano Héloïse Werner. I think this sounds like an amazing and theatrical performance which promises historic, comical and tragic content. See the venue website here for details.
Children Of Eden | Union Theatre | 10 Aug-10 Sep
This musical is basically about all the parent-types out there. Funny and heartfelt, it explores just what it means to be the owner of a small human. “When we bring our children into the world, all we want is to protect and cherish them. When they then begin to grow up, paradise is never quite as perfect again. The hardest part of love …is letting go.” Amen to that. Head this way for more information.
