And the LDN-based events the ThisWeek team is tipping today are….

COMEDY: The Schadenfreude Cabaret w/ James Campbell + Joe Rowntree | The Harrison | 30 May
This entirely and incredibly FREE preview of working Edinburgh shows is home to “hilarious” (for young and old, both) comic James Campbell, and “unique” – says GQ – stand-up Joe Rowntree. Details here.

MUSIC: Bugged Out x Blasé Boys w/ Duke Dumont + Jonas Rathsman, XOYO, 30 May
‘Hold On’ and ‘I Got U’ hit man Duke Dumont headlines Bugged Out’s monthly XOYO hijack tonight, bossing a bill that also lists no-frills Gothenburg DJ Jonas Rathsman and rising LDN-bred mixer Kiwi. Details and tickets here.

THEATRE: The Roof | Doon Street Car Park | 30 May – 28 Jun (pictured)
Inter-disciplinary theatre fest LIFT springs this immersive 3D experience directed by Shunt’s David Rosenberg, and with bold, parkour-style choreography by Frauke Requardt. Set within a kind of virtual reality game, the show requires spectators to wear headphones in order to get inside the mind of its ‘hero’, a competitor trying to beat the clock. Details and tickets here.
