And today’s ThisWeek-tipped, LDN-based events are…

COMEDY: Stand Up for SIDS | Bloomsbury Theatre | 17 Apr (pictured)
Tim Key, Aisling Bea, Mike Wozniak and Mae Martin are all lined up to perform at this benefit for The Lullaby Trust, which aims to reduce incidences of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome. Details and tickets here.

MUSICAL: Shock Treatment | King’s Head Theatre | 17 Apr – 6 Jun
The movie sequel to ‘The Rocky Horror Picture Show’, ‘Shock Treatment’ receives its premiere on the stage at The King’s Head. The “further adventures of Brad and Janet” movie never enjoyed the success of the original went it was released in 1981, though the songs were always pretty catchy and its reality TV show setting is, if anything, more relevant today than back then. Details and tickets here.

MUSICAL: Rumpy Pumpy | Landor Theatre | 14-19 Apr
Screenwriter and novelist Barbara Jane Mackie’s latest project is ‘Rumpy Pumpy’, a new musical based on the story of two Women’s Institute campaigners who led a campaign to improve the situation of sex workers. Find out more in this TWL interview with Mackie. Details and tickets here.
